“Technological Center” OJSC, Dushanbe based fruit & vegetable processor, manufacturers 40 types of juices and beverages in glass containers.  In their effort to introduce new type of packaging for their products they have contacted Nozim Narzulloev, RTP Trade Specialist in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, seeking assistance in identifying suppliers of packaging equipment for food products, namely Tetra Pack type packaging.

 

“Technological Center” OJSC has been provided with several options for supply of used Tetra Pack type packaging equipment.  The company management has selected a supplier of used Tetra Pack type packaging equipment from Ukraine that offered affordable supply terms.  However, the packaging line offered by a Ukrainian supplier was not complete and missed a few sections that need to be sourced from other suppliers. 

 

“Sky-Long” company in Wenchzhou, China, has been identified as a supplier of missing sections for the selected packaging line.  Preliminary negotiations with “Sky-Long” were followed by a visit of Client’s technical specialist to the site of “Sky-Long” to inspect the missing sections to be supplied, confirm their compatibility with the selected packaging line, finalize and sign the supply contract with “Sky-Long” amounting to $115,402.00. 

 

In 20 days the shipment sent by “Sky-Long” has been received by “Technological Center” OJSC in Dushanbe.  The Tetra Pack packaging line assembled by “Technological Center” OJSC has allowed them to be one of the first producers of juices in Tetra Pack packaging in Tajikistan.
